Sanbelm is a Japanese brand covering the practical, often overlooked side of the kitchen — heat protection, cleaning, and table linen. The range includes steamed cloths, oven mitts, pot holders, placemats, and cleaning sponges and brushes, all made with the attention to materials and finish that Japanese everyday goods are known for.

Steamed Cloths

Sanbelm's steamed cloths are designed for traditional Asian steaming — wrapping around bamboo steamers or lining steamer baskets for shumai, mochi rice, red rice, and other steamed dishes. Available in four sizes from 45cm x 45cm up to 100cm x 100cm to suit different steamer setups.

Oven Mitts and Heat Protection

The oven mitt range covers several styles: compact canvas mittens sized for a closer fit, wrist-length gauntlet style mitts with a potholder included, and the Nicotto series in canvas with leather heat protection patches. The multipurpose pot holders double as table wipers and pan grips, with a waffle-textured back for extra grip and easy cleaning.

Placemats and Pot Mats

The Parry placemat series is reversible and water-repellent, measuring 30cm x 40cm and available in multiple colours. Machine washable. The pot mat range uses thick canvas and is sized for grilling pans, pots, and skillets with a hanging string for storage.

Cleaning Tools

The Nicott cleaning sponge range comes in several designs suited to non-stick and general cookware. The stainless steel scourer is designed for tougher jobs like removing burnt residue from cast iron and earthenware. The standing kitchen brush has a triangular head for corners and tight spaces, and the bottle washing brush extends to 35cm for tall bottles and carafes.
