TATUNG TAC-11RM 11-Cup Stainless Steel Rice Cooker

I wanted to buy a new rice cooker that was made of stainless steel and did not have a non-stick coating, so I had my heart set on buying a Tatung. Hello Kitchen was the first Australian supplier that popped up. The order process was easy. If it matters to you, the shipment was done through Aramex. I personally had a smooth delivery experience, with the postie ringing the intercom of my apartment building. However, I’ve also had some bad experiences with Aramex, so it is something to note if you care about the courier. The rice cooker came packaged in an original Tatung box, complete with a manual that's especially useful because I've never used a Tatung before, and they do work quite differently than a regular rice cooker. I have used it many times since I've gotten it and there have been no problems with it. Knowing what I know now about Aramex, I'm not sure if I would buy from Hello Kitchen again. But I had a good experience this time around.

I cooked pasta successfully in it. I bought a 10 cup as l found the 6 cup a bit small however it served me well for 15 years and l paid $99 for it. Now l have an extra stainless steel bowl for preparation in the kitchen! I have been happy with Tatung.
