The Kylin Electric Purple Clay Pot Slow Cooker (5L, K2021) features an authentic Chinese Zisha clay inner pot, a material prized for thousands of years for its ability to enhance flavour and retain minerals. Unlike conventional slow cookers, it contains no aluminium and no chemical non stick coatings, making it a genuinely healthier choice. Three dimensional heating locks in nutrients and produces clear, rich broths. The 5L capacity suits four to eight people, and a 12-hour timer lets you set it and step away. Ideal for soups, porridge, and tonic stews. Rated 700W with an Australian plug included.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 2 reviews.

I got this to avoid the leeching of metals Ive heard the cheaper aussie main stream ones do. Didnt look that deeply into so could be bullshite but fell for the romance of clay. The whimsy girlies. I love it so far. Looks great and was fun to use and liked the result. It was faster than I thought. A little bit more temperamental to care for but worth it for the vibeeee.

It’s been working well for the past three months since I’ve bought it. If you ever accidentally make cracks, good thing you can buy inner pot replacement.
